Looking for a getaway to an island that has a little bit of everything? Look no further than the Indonesian island of Bintan located just off the coast of Singapore for attractions ranging from golf to temples.


Sawah Ladang Bintan: This is the only organic farming spot on the island and is a popular tourist destination. There are activities here for children of all ages and this is one of the most unique and amazing places on the island to visit. 

Main Street: The small town of Tanjungpinang in Bintan offers a street that many consider one of the hidden gems on the island. It has shops and many other places to enjoy. 

Ria Bintan Golf Club: This is certainly the best golf course on the island. There are four holes that are located around the ocean with some of the best views imaginable. There is also a newly built hotel on the course.

Penyenget: This is the perfect spot for a quick getaway. Penyenget island is a tiny island just outside of Bintan that offers some amazing views and is the perfect spot to have a picnic and watch the sun set.

Bayan Tree Temple: This temple is located in Tanjungpinang and is also a very unique spot. This is the place to take some very unique pictures and enjoy some spectacular views.

Aroma Day Spa: What would a trip to Asia be without visiting a spa? The Aroma Day Spa offers a soothing environment with some light music to enjoy while getting the massage of a lifetime. 

Nirwana Resort Center: This spot is a new entertainment center that offers something for everybody. Ride an elephant at Jumbo Park or visit an air rifle range. There is also bowling, a pool, and so much more.

Bintan Lagoon Resort Golf Club: This is another golf course located on the island with stunning views while you play. The course is known for their monkeys who have been seen hanging around the course once in a while.

Chinese Temple: Also located in Tanjungpinang, this temple contains many statues and a spot to drop coins onto the heads of turtles. This is thought of by locals as something that will bring good luck.

Pasar Ole Ole: Looking to do a little shopping while on vacation? Look no further than Pasar Ole Ole. This collection of stores and shops is certainly the best place to stop and enjoy in Bintan.
